5 out of 5 stars Well written!   February 25, 2008
The Author has written an Excellent Guide that presents what would be a boring subject, in a way that is decisive, very informative and entertaining.

4 out of 5 stars I passed   December 26, 2007

I read this book first. Then I read Kaplan's version. I think if I did it reverse then I would not have understood the book. He uses humor and breaks the lingo down. I Passed and I am happy. However, this version is a year old.

5 out of 5 stars First Rate   December 25, 2007
Robert Walker's abilities removed the intimidation of actually studing for a federal license while not compromising information. From front to back, top notch.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT CONDENSED INFO & EASY TO READ   November 30, 2007
THIS BOOK CONDENSED THE INFORMATION TO THE BARE NECESSITES AND KEPT ME FROM HAVING TO GO THROUGH THOUSANDS OF PAGES OF EXTRA MATERIAL. THERE'S ONLY 200 PGS. OF READING AND THE OTHER 150 PGS. ARE QUESTIONS,ANSWERS & A GLOSSARY. I READ THE 200 PGS. ONCE AND DIDN'T LOOK AT ANY OF THE QUESTIONS OR THE GLOSSARY. TOOK THE TEST & PASSED WITH A 77% ON THE FIRSTS TRY. DID NOT STUDY ANY OTHER MATERIAL! IN MY OPINION THAT'S A GREAT BOOK TO STUDY! HE ALSO MAKES IT SOMEWHAT FUNNY IN ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE MATERIAL NOT QUITE SO BORING!

5 out of 5 stars You need to get this Book if you want to Pass the 6   November 5, 2007

Folks,

I just changed industries (after 17 years in another industry) and needed to Pass the Series 6 exam. I thought I had a decent foundation of the key concepts until I read this book. I echo all of the other positive comments that you might have read about this book. It is all true. For me, the entire package that is offered (book, CD,s and Exam Prep Software) is the way to go. This allowed me to take approximately 3000 test questions before I took the Series 6 and I passed on the first try. Yes, I am a little "uptight" & nervous about this stuff, but I studied like heck and I needed to pass the test. I just purchased all of the Pass the 63 stuff too. Why mess with something that works for me and I can understand.
